More Insurers are now implementing new discounts for safer drivers. It really does pay to be a safe driver. Less risk to costly car repairs, no tickets or fines and, of course, reduced insurance rates. Allstate Insurance Company is one known Insurer who provides discounts for safe driving. Allstate has three discounts; a Premier Discount, a Premier Plus Discount and a Defensive Driver Discount. These three discounts are built to save safe drivers more on their insurance rates. The Premier Discount is for continuously insured drivers who have avoided traffic violations and accidents within the last three years. The Premier Plus discount is their best auto insurance discount. For this discount, your driving record must be clean of tickets and accidents within the last five years. Last but not least, there is the Defensive Driving Discount. This discount is for Drivers 55 and over. Although this isn’t available in every state, Drivers 55+ may be able to get an insurance discount if they take an approved defensive driving course.
